Refund & Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing Swadi. We strive to provide you with the best food delivery experience. Please read our policy regarding order cancellations, returns, and refunds carefully:

  1. Order Cancellation

    • Before Confirmation: You may cancel your food or grocery order before it is accepted/confirmed by the partner restaurant or store without incurring any cancellation charges.
    • After Confirmation: Once the restaurant or store has confirmed your order and started preparing the food, cancellations are not permitted. If you attempt to cancel the order after confirmation, you will be charged a cancellation fee up to the full value of the order.
  2. Eligibility for Refunds

    Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances, subject to verification by our support team:

    • Non-Delivery: If your order was not delivered due to an error on our part (e.g., rider could not locate your address or delivery failed).
    • Wrong Item Received: If the items delivered do not match the items listed in your order receipt (photo evidence is required).
    • Missing Items: If certain items you paid for were not delivered (a partial refund equivalent to the cost of the missing items will be issued).
    • Quality Concerns: If the food delivered is spoiled, damaged, or has major hygiene issues (verification with the restaurant and photo proof will be required).
  3. No Return Policy

    Due to health, safety, and hygiene regulations, food items and other perishable goods delivered to you cannot be returned. In case of issues listed in Section 2, a refund will be processed, but you do not need to return the food items.

  4. Refund Processing Timeline

    Once a refund is approved by our customer support team, the refund amount will be credited back to your original payment method (e.g., Credit/Debit Card, Netbanking, UPI, or Wallet) within 3 to 5 working days, depending on your bank's processing times.
